How do I start a video call from the Upcoming appointments section

If the scheduled session is a virtual one, you’ll notice a blue Start button on the far right side in the Upcoming Appointments tab. Follow these steps:

  • Click Start: Once you click the Start button, a screen displaying appointment and client details will appear.
  • Waiting for Client: If the client hasn’t signed on yet, the screen will indicate Waiting. Once the client(s) sign in, their names will appear in blue in the middle of the screen.
  • Begin Session: Once all participants are present, click the orange Begin Session button on the top right to initiate the video call. The call will connect automatically, with your video on a smaller screen and the client’s video larger on your screen.
  • Picture in Picture Option: Hover over the screen and click the picture in picture option to move the client’s image to the right side of the screen. This allows you to multitask or view other pages while keeping the client in view. To return to full screen, hover over the image and click Back to Tab.
  • During the call, you can take private notes, save them for later, mark them as complete, or add addendums to completed notes. These notes will be accessible in the Notes section of the platform and on the client’s profile page. 
  • After ending the call, you’ll receive a reminder to mark the session as complete in the Open tab, initiating the billing process.
