What do the different status labels in the billing section mean

In the billing section of Trova, the status labels convey specific information about the invoice. Here’s what each status means:

  • Sent: Indicates that the invoice has been sent to the client, but no payment has been made yet.
  • Paid: Signifies that the invoice was sent, and the client has successfully made the payment.
  • Pending: The pending status indicates that you selected “insurance payment” when you marked the session as complete. It remains in pending status until either you receive payment from the medical aid provider and mark it as paid, or the medical insurance does not cover the service and you request payment via the menu option. In the latter case, a payment link and invoice are sent to the client. Once the client pays, the status will update to paid.
  • Draft: Implies that no invoice has been sent. This status is typical when Paystack integration hasn’t been completed with the Paystack account.

Understanding these status labels helps you track the progress of your invoices, providing clarity on whether payments have been made or if further action is needed.
